Somewhere, deep in space...

Welcome to Deepspace RPG, the new card-based sci-fi RPG! 

Work together with a party of unique soldiers and warriors from across the West Kriston Arm, a shard of a once great galaxy drifting through space detached from the broader galaxy. Choose from dozens of unique weapons each with their own custom upgrade trees and construct a deck from ability cards to bring your own flavor and utility to every party.

A Diverse Cast

Choose from wide-ranging arrays of species from science fiction and fantasy history as well as custom races unique to Deepspace. Suit up with heavy armor and customized, flashy sci-fi weapons and build a deck out of ability cards to specialize your role within your party that will eventually become Heroes, if they don't succumb to the depths of space first. 

Card-Based Combat

When tensions break and bullets fly, draw from a specialized deck of weapon and ability cards that represent the opportunities available to you in the moment. Each class's abilities has their own strengths and weaknesses, requiring you to stick together and work to fill in the gaps - the heavy Bulwark will provide shields and protection to push forward through a hallway laden with traps and enemies, but their slow armor will need the push from the inspiring Lieutenant's commands. In the depths of space where everything is out to get you, teamwork, strategy, and luck are the only things keeping you alive. 

Customizable Destruction

Each class has their own unique arsenal of primary weapons, secondary weapons, and armor rigs, and within each of those weapons is a tree of branching upgrades that makes no two character builds exactly the same, bringing their own powers, upgrades, and modifications to their team. 

Quickstart Guide

Currently listed here is a Quickstart Guide, a completely free 30 page guide featuring  a basic set of rules, 5 preconstructed character sheets, over 20 weapons to build custom loadouts with, printable Combat Decks, and a mini-adventure - Horrors Aboard the Godsend, where a motley crew aboard a transport ship must escape their doomed vessel after the Xylion, a hive-minded genocidal insectiod race, board the ship intent on leaving no survivors. The entire one-shot will last about 3 hours including character creation - a perfect way to test out and experience Deepspace for completely free.

Attack on Keldron VIII

In addition to the Quickstart Guide, a new playtest has just been released - Attack on Keldron VIII, where you play as soldiers for the strict and heavily armored Federation, en route to a mining asteroid being invaded by an unknown attacking force. Restore order to Federation Territory and reclaim company resources. 

Attack on Keldron VIII is completely free, and contains a full playtest adventure that can be completed in about 3-6 hours as well as 10 new weapons to be used with the preconstructed characters and rules in  the Quickstart Guide.
